I had a Vision, and that Vision was to create my own Brand.

Slowly, I began working on it at the end of 2020. I wanted to take my time and come up with something Authentic and Meaningful to me and most importantly my customers/clients. Finally the name BETT came to me! Standing for “Brave Enough To Try” January 11, 2021.

I had an incredible amount of confidence to move ahead, and applied for a Business name. I only wrote down one name (instead of the three options they gave you). It was denied.

Again I applied. This time writing down three (like I should have in the first place). The THIRD one on that list got accepted : BETT Clothing Company.

Originally I was going to have my daughters father (who has a similar business) help me put together my creations. I came up with five designs but after a few weeks of him being incredibly busy with his own company I decided to SPLURGE and got everything I needed to do it on my own!

I then started working on my website, which I had zero knowledge in I might add. I took my time and learned as I went. This definitely took a LOT of work and brain capacity !!! I feel like an expert now, but am still learning as I go.

BETT Clothing Company officially registered on March 12, 2021. 

I lost my Mom the very next day.. My best friend... My rock.. My everything.. My whole world came tumbling down.. I was beyond heartbroken. I never even got to tell her about it as I was going to surprise everyone when I had everything prepared and ready to go. 

I was completely lost for a little while. After taking some time to myself, and LOTS of grieving, I continued with my ambition to follow through. I knew my Mom was by my side.  I could feel her with me 💜 

Once I had done all the steps I needed to for my brand/company I created, the timing worked out perfectly for me to launch on Mother’s Day in honour of my Mom. 

It’s definitely taken a lot of dedication and determination. I’ve literally put my entire heart and soul into this and thus came :

“Brave Enough To Try”
